How can I enroll my kids at Palo Pinto ISD?


Residents within the Palo Pinto ISD boundaries my pick up a registration form at the school. Non-resident students may pick up a transfer application from the office or by clicking "Parents" and "Transfer Application" on the PPISD homepage.

 

 

Will there ever be a junior high or high school?


The Superintendent and School Board continue to look at options for the future of Palo Pinto ISD. We would love any input.

 

 

Is Palo Pinto ISD an Exemplary District?


Palo Pinto ISD has a long history of academic excellence. More specifically, Palo Pinto ISD/Elementary has received an A-rating by TEA for several years running and earned many/all Designation Distinctions for which we have been eligible. We also have received accolades from U.S. News and World Report, as well as high ratings from www.niche.com.

 

 

Where can I find information about state testing?


The Texas Education Agency is a wealth of information for schools and parents. Go to www.tea.state.tx.us for more information. Once there, look for "parent resources" at the bottom of the page. This will let you know what curriculum will be assessed in your child's grade, study guides, testing calendars, etc.
